Inclusion Tennis

Inclusion Space

Every player has a story and has their own unique attributes and challenges. As well as mainstream tennis settings we also provide tennis in the disability space. All players deserve to play tennis regardless of their disability. Here at the South Qld Tennis Academy, we provide inclusion tennis for players with an intellectual disability. Inclusion players are incredible to coach, our Academy is delivering tennis to a number of players within the disability space. These coaching programs are delivered in a way that is meaningful and tailored to each individual.

Inclusion Initiative

As detailed on the Tennis Australia website the following about inclusion tennis is highlighted, “Tennis embraces diversity and aims to make our sport welcoming, safe and inclusive for everyone.”

The inclusion program is important for our region, we take the expansion of this initiative very seriously. We are working closely with the Tennis Qld National Inclusion Academy Coach - Alison Scott to deliver the best possible program in the city of Toowoomba.

Inclusion Talent Pathways

Tennis Australia has worked tirelessly to create the best coaching model, seen in tournament results on the national and international stage. Leading national coaches have worked hard to understand each disability to fully maximise a player’s potential through their learning processes.
